DRAFT - REQUIRES ATTORNEY REVIEW

Last updated: [DATE]

1. The account holder

ComicBug accounts may only be created by adults 18 or older who are a parent or legal guardian. The parent is the account holder and is responsible for all activity under the account, including activity in child profiles.

2. Kids' work belongs to your family

Stories, comics and pictures created in ComicBug belong to the family. You grant ComicBug a limited license to store, display and process that work only to provide the service to you (for example, showing it in your family library or printing a book you order). We will never use your kid's work for advertising or share it publicly.

3. Subscriptions and trials

Paid plans renew automatically until canceled. The free trial converts to a paid plan unless canceled before it ends. You may cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the paid period. Spark Packs and printed books are one-time purchases. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or stated at purchase.

4. Sparks

Sparks are a usage allowance for custom pictures, have no cash value, and cannot be transferred or exchanged.

5. Printed books

Printed books are produced by a third-party printer. Delivery times are estimates. If a book arrives damaged or misprinted, contact us and we'll make it right.

6. Acceptable use

Everyone using ComicBug must follow our safety rules. We may suspend accounts that put kids at risk.

7. The helper

ComicBug's writing helper and picture tools use automated systems and safety filters. They may sometimes make mistakes; parents review every episode before it is published.

8. Disclaimers and limits

The service is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, ComicBug's liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim. [ATTORNEY TO COMPLETE]

We will notify account holders of material changes. Governing law: [STATE]. Contact: [SUPPORT EMAIL].
